Cool Crocodiles

Crocodiles are the size of a baby chicken when born. They eat bugs and tiny fish. When young crocodiles head for the water, some go without knowing the trouble. At a  young age crocodiles already start hunting.   As they grow bigger, they spend more and more time resting and hunting alone.  They'll sometimes hold prey underwater until its prey drowns.  A grown crocodile eats zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and big birds.  A big crocodile's only enemy is a bigger crocodile. If they get too warm they open their mouths to cool off. If they can't cool down enough, they go in water. Crocodiles can't chew. They bite a big chunk from their prey, let it down their throat, and swallow it whole. They are one of the biggest predators of the Nile.
