The flippers and blow hole are probobly the most important parts of a humpback whale. Their flippers are like non-feathery long wings. They use more oxygen than any other human or animal, besides the blue whale. They can hold their breath for 30 minutes under water! When they are hunting, they keep their mouths open. Their flippers help scoop their food. The humpback whale's flippers and blow hole help in hunting.
